KOVO KOREAN LEAGUE
The KOVO Korean League will start on the 2 of November. Six teams are participating (very little). I found the website with schedule and such (actually it was Border). But anyways since I'm part Korean the woman's tab is the Yeo-Ja tab not the Nam-Ja (that is for men). How wonderful that Korea is so conviently so far away that at 1:00 p.m. California Time is when the first game startes. Alas, you won't see it. And unlike the damn Turkish League, Sport Lemon indeed listed the games on their site. :)
WEEK 1
IBK Altos - GS Celtecs [3-0]
The first game is between the previous season 1 and 2 place winner as they play against each other again. The video is just highlight that put together dicive moments. Anyways, the point of the best scorer are only totaled. Bethania De La Cruz (22 spikes) Karina Ocasio (14 spikes, 5 aces, 2 stuff blocks) and Jeong Ah Park (10 spikes and 3 aces) It looks like IBK will dominate again. Karina looks like a way more well rounded player than Bethy. And Han Song Yi looks like she didn't play too good.
KGC - Heungkuk [3-1]
This game was between the fifth and six place in the ranking last year. From the video high lights it seems that Joycinha is going to be a crazy scorer for this team. And Vasileva for HK didn't perform very well at all, she made major mistakes at big moments. Best Scorers on the match were: Joycinha (31 spikes and 4 stuff blocks) Elitsa Vasileva (25 spikes and 1 stuff block) and Mok Hwa Baek (8 spikes 2 aces and 3 stuff blocks). Now Pink Spider will definately be on the bottom this season too I mean no major Korean players in that team. They will never get Yeon Koung
Zenith v. Hyundai [3 - 0]
This is the 3 and 4 place ranking play off. It Zenith killed Hyndai. I guess Hyo Jin is still injured poor Hyundai they need her. The Turkish player didn't do so well but she is quite pretty no wonder Gozde and Neslihan don't wnat her. Because the camera will horde after her. She has bleach blonde hair she's bold. But anways Basa didn't play well as I said. Best Scorers: Nicole Fawcett (23 spikes, 3 aces, 1 stuff block) and Yelize Basa (9 spikes, 1 ace and 2 stuff blocks) Anyways Fawcett is leaving national team that mena Zenith won't be as strong them.
